“Travel makes one modest. You see what a tiny place you occupy in the world.” – Gustave Flaubert
Anja Köper Translator
Anja has always been fascinated by foreign countries and different cultures which is why she went abroad for a year after graduating from school: From 1999 to 2000, she worked as an au pair in Connecticut. From 2005 to 2006, she completed an internship in Philadelphia. According to Anja, the key to a foreign culture lies in its’ language. So in 2005, she graduated from university with a BA degree in “International Communication and Translation”. With her part-time job as a flight attendant, she is able to travel the world. The scenic and cultural diversity of the United States appeal to her in particular. If she is not traveling, Anja supplies the team with chocolate, candy and quotations of the series “ALF”.
